Refund & Exchange Policy

This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and registration transfers are handled for the International Gastrointestinal Cancer Congress (IGCC). By completing registration, delegates agree to the terms below.
1. Cancellations and refunds
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@igccksa.net and are processed according to the schedule below, calculated from the date the request is received:
- 60 or more days before the congress: full refund, less a 10% administrative fee.
- 30–59 days before the congress: 50% refund.
- Fewer than 30 days before the congress, or after the congress has started: no refund.
Approved refunds are returned to the original method of payment and may take up to 15 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.
2. Name changes and substitutions
Registrations may be transferred to another individual at no charge up to 14 days before the congress. Substitution requests must be sent by email and include the new delegate's full name, affiliation, and contact details.
3. Non-refundable items
Optional add-ons such as workshop seats, gala dinner tickets, or printed materials are non-refundable once confirmed, unless the item itself is cancelled by the organizers.
4. Congress changes, postponement, or cancellation
IGCC reserves the right to modify the program, speakers, or venue where necessary. If the congress is postponed, delegates may transfer their registration to the rescheduled dates at no cost, or request a refund under the terms above. If the congress is cancelled outright by the organizers, registration fees will be refunded in full; the organizers are not responsible for related costs such as flights or hotel bookings.
5. How to request a refund or exchange
Email info@igccksa.net with your full name, registration confirmation number, and the reason for your request. Our team will confirm receipt within 3 business days and advise on next steps.
